• Independent date filters for Visitor log and Invites: You can now set separate date ranges on the Visitor log and Invites pages. Changing your date selection on one page no longer resets the other, so you won't run into blank screens when switching between past visits and upcoming invitations.

• Google Calendar ad-hoc bookings: Fixed an issue where tapping "Book now" or "Book later" directly on a room display wouldn't save the reservation for Google Calendar users.
• Exchange calendar sync: Resolved a sync issue that caused delays when booking directly on devices connected with Exchange on-premise calendars.
• Organizer name display: Meetings booked through Outlook now consistently show the organizer's full name on the room display instead of their email address.
• Multi-year subscription display: Fixed an issue in MyJoan where activating a multi-year prepaid subscription code only displayed a single year of validity instead of the full period.

• Recognize guests quickly with visitor photo avatars: We have expanded our visitor photo feature so you can easily identify guests visually. The photo captured during the visitor check-in flow now appears as an avatar wherever visitors are displayed in the portal. • Better Dutch translations: We updated the Dutch instructions on the visitor registration check-in screen. The text is now much clearer and matches the button labels to avoid any confusion.

• Language settings: The app now correctly respects your device's preferred language instead of defaulting to English.
• License error screen: Users without an active license will no longer see a blank home screen. The app now properly displays a clear message.
• Hidden search results: We resolved an issue where search results were hidden behind the on-screen keyboard on iOS and Android during custom bookings.
• QR booking: Scanning a Joan device QR code to book a space now correctly displays the room's name in the booking flow instead of showing "Unknown".
• Slovene translation: When booking a desk in Slovene, the title now correctly says "miza" (desk) instead of "soba" (room).

What's New

• Flexible name matching for visitor check-in: Checking in at a self-service kiosk is now much easier. The kiosk now recognizes names even if visitors swap their first and last names, leave out a hyphen, use different capitalization, or add extra spaces. This helps visitors check in quickly and keeps your reception running smoothly without needing staff assistance.

• We fixed a display bug on Joan 6 devices where empty meeting descriptions showed messy text instead of remaining blank.
• We resolved an issue where office managers couldn't see the Custom Content list or find the new custom content they just created. The list now loads and displays correctly.

Performance Improvements

• Faster page loading: We updated how Joan verifies feature settings. By checking your setup details earlier in the process, we reduced unnecessary database communication. This makes your experience on the platform faster and more responsive.

We cleaned up a few bugs to keep your workplace running without a hitch:

• Reliable room syncing: Fixed an issue that stopped certain Outlook and Google calendar events from syncing with your Joan devices. This includes a fix for room resources that failed to update when a calendar invite did not have a video conference link.
• Quicker visitor check-ins: Fixed an issue that slowed down the visitor registration and check-in process. Guests can now check in quickly, even for companies with a long history of past visitors and signed documents.
• Accurate times for recurring meetings: Corrected an issue where recurring calendar events would sometimes display with shifted, incorrect times on Joan devices. Your recurring schedules will now show up at the exact right time.

• A more flexible Visitor dashboard: We updated the Visitor section to make managing your guests much easier. You can now switch between visitor logs and invites directly from the left sidebar. We also replaced the daily view with a flexible date range picker, so you can easily review visitor activity across any timeframe you choose.

• Polished preregistration QR screen: We added some breathing room to the preregistration QR screen. The logo and title are no longer squeezed together, giving your guests a cleaner, more welcoming experience.
• Instant menu updates: Fixed an issue where the Visitors link would still show up on the Schedule page after disabling Visitor Management for a building. The portal now updates immediately, so you don't have to manually refresh your browser.

• Cleaner badge printing screen: We introduced a fresh design for the ePaper badge printing loader. It replaces the old percentage counter and removes the "Waiting for confirmation" text to keep the screen clean and simple.
